Burns has a better jab which would control the whole fight and prevent Mitchell from getting inside. Burns is proven to have a better chin that Mitchell. Burns has much better variation and is especially strong to the body which would severely slow Mitchell down. Even in the power stakes I think Burns hits as hard if not harder than Mitchell at LW

So you think Mitchells going to just let Burns land the jab at will? and not use his feet and upper body movement to evade the jab? Plus Mitchells jab is very under rated he breaks opponents down with it. Burns jab is more frequent though but not as stiff.

Mitchell can throw a good body shot too, especially with his left hand. Power? i have to give that to Mitchell. Workrate i go with Burns. Burns has a more solid defence with a high guard, Mitchells defence is more about being illusive and making opponents miss.

To me this fight is going to be closer than others see it. Its down to whose plan works on the night. btw im a fan of both.

Fair enough that's your opinion, I just see Burns being far too good for Mitchell and winning a wide decision

I don't think we have learned that much about either of them, neither one of them has faced a really top level fighter at the height of their powers, imho, so much as this is a cracking fight and I am really looking forward to it, whoever wins will still be untested at top world level for me. No shame in that at all, just how I see it. This fight sets the winner up for hopefully big things.

Who compared him to world class? You talking about Burns? Holding that wbo strap don't make him world class just the same as when Rees held the wba. Burns is way overated on this site. There are a lot of Mitchell haters on here, the dame people who said Murrey was gonna ko Mitchell. It's gonna be a great day out and imo Mitchell will stop him late.

Burns is a world class fighter no doubt about it, two weight world champion and has beaten far stellar opposition to Mitchell. What in Burns career has made you think Mitchell has power to stop him

Lol @ Burns being world class!

I'd take John ****ing Murray over him any day.

Rios/JMM/The Ghost etc would ruin that kid.

Abril would box the ears off of him as well.

Is this a "focussed and well prepared Mitchell"? or the normal Kev? If the former then I agree, he is decent Euro level. Burns is going to stand him on his head (sniff) whichever version turns up. I hope to God that Cockney Rejects play him to the ring again, that was the best part of the Kat fight
