pink! i can't condone pink for fighters unless it's for breast cancer or something.

 

looks like mcdonell's trying to get degale to use the full guard

not the best idea since he's been fighting with a half guard through all his amateur career and even won the olympics using it.

 

DeGale keeps his hands up and down during fights.

 

Matthew hall was in the background when degale was warming up I think? Didn't know he was on tonight.. are sky showing him?

 

Weird the Williams fight was so early, I guess the fancy have had to just sit though a four rounder.

I know it is early, but it always seemed a bit risky putting on an outside show in May (not as bad Bruno/Bugner, where if I ever was to became a jaffa, it would of been because of that night, it was so cold!), and there seems to be lack of atmosphere...

 

i haven't seen him since his second pro fight but i've followed him through the ams and he was pretty good at using the shoulder roll.

 

DeGales proportioning will make it hard for him to fight using peek a boo. He is a long rangey fighter. It's important that he knows how to fight out of full guard though. On the inside and for two fisted attacks he will need it. However, when possible he will want to fight out of half guard and no guard BUT he needs to know how to fight out of those guards properly and effectively.

He still does use it, but sometimes he uses a normal guard. Like everything with DeGale, he likes to be as complicated and flashy as possible.
