Mitchell-Katsidis II and Murray-Rios look likely!

What's more worrying is the fact he was on the ropes so much. Murray doesn't hit hard, and doesn't have the offensive prowess of Katsidis. I.e he will get hit far more, and far harder against Katsidis.

 

I'm not sure what your point is. I predicted the way the fight would go pretty accurately, I just didn't see Mitchell getting to Murray the way he did.

Kevin did very well, but let's not ignore that he made plenty of mistakes that Murray couldn't capitalise on. Katsidis is still levels above Murray or Mitchell. If they rematch right now, I don't see Kevin doing much better.

Rios will destroy Mitchell at the moment. It's a terrible fight for Mitchell to take if it's on the table. Build up - he's young, probably benefited from the break, and can afford the time to get a big shot.

If he loses badly to Rios or Katsidis again, he will forever be tarnished and stuck at Euro level.

 

kev got knocked from pillar to post against kats can see the same thing happening again , although he done well against JM he still got banged up a bit and JM is pretty ****.

Regarding Mitchell’s loss to Katsidis, Rios said: “Everybody that goes into that ring I respect. Boxing is a hard sport so I’m not overlooking him because maybe he had a bad day with Michael Katsidis, you never know. So I will be ready for whatever he brings. I’m going to be ready for whatever. I’m just going to mentally and physically prepare myself for that.”

 

Surely no way Fwank makes Rios-Murray; I would truly believe he is cashing out if so because that is some horrendous matchmaking. The absolute last person I would pick Murray to beat would be Rios, he holds no advantages, Rios is just much better, bigger, tougher.

 

Yeah thats how i saw the fight too, when youve got the likes of Murray putting constant pressure on you getting caught on the ropes is to be expected to a point, its what you do when on the ropes that matters, against Rios Kev will have to hold and ocassionally try the left uppercut.
Kev made Murray miss alot to which was partly to do with Murrays down fall, this i know as Tibbs himself said so, lots of Murrays shots were glancing. The majority of Mitchells punches were timed and had more umph in them.

 

Rios would destroy Murray, Mitchell, and Katsidis. He's on another level from all 3.
