''after this fight people will realise I'm the real deal'' Katsidis is: ''wild with his shots'' ''I can nail him early or nail him late'' ''I'll have to be cute about my work'' Expecting lots of big-name footballers at ringside.
Sky really plugging Boxing at the moment arent they. this must mean Khan vs Mallignaggi will be shown elsewhere. ITV/ESPN or Primetime.
Sorry to hijack the thread, but did you just hear the bit about Hatton? 'He's still not feeling the hunger needed'. Cruel *******s at Sky.
I would have gone to this fight if it had been at the 02 or another arena. but stadium just wont work. wont be able to get a decent seat.
exactly a month away! Sky dont want Khan on box office especially at 3am. His fights never got more than 30,000 buys.
We have a contender for most stupid question of the year... "So, Kevin, will you win?" What the **** did he expect him to say atsch
Never been to Upton Park but from my seat and plenty of others at Celtic Park you would get a brilliant view of the ring assuming its in the centre circle.
I woulda said no. I don't have a chance tbh. My training camp has been wank, I'm eating rubbish, my weight is a major issue I'm struggling to get down, I got cut in sparring and haven't sparred much so my timing is awful and when I have sparred I've been rusty and been hit a lot. The weight is actually so much of a problem atm that I'm starving myself so badly I got KTFO by a flyweight at the gym. I'm thinking about calling the fight off, I'm gonna get ruined. BUT This is all lies and just a smokescreen to get into Katsidis' head that it's gonna be an easy night. Mind games :smoke
Similar to that time Roy Keane was asked if a game was a 'must win'. He replied with something to the tune of, 'as opposed to what? 'Must lose'?'
As much as I hate Roy Keane, his press conferences are really funny sometimes. I remember a recent one, where a reporter asked him "Roy, how do you think David Beckham will deal with the occasion when he returns to Old Trafford". Roy replied, "I couldn't care less to be honest". Comedy gold.
They're only opening up the stand behind the goal and half of both side stands. The ring will be on the edge of the D. Every seat will get a decent view. My seat cost £30 and I'm on the lower tier of the side stand in Row N and yet I'll probably have a better view than some who have paid twice that amount for pitch seating just in front of the stand. :deal
