this is the right time for mitchell to step up. katsidis is a good step up. he's not sensational but hard as nails.
:yep Nah not really. But if I was going to turn against him that would be where I would start.... I wish him the best success and hope he gets the Katsidis fight and knocks him all over the ring.
nice work Warren. lets see it at the 02. Good undercard would be Nathan Cleverly vs Aleksy Kuziemski (Euro Light Heavyweight/IBF Eliminator) Sam Sexton vs Danny Williams (Commowealth/British Heavyweight Title) Lenny Daws vs Frankie Gavin (British Welterweight Title) James DeGale vs Matthew Thirwall (Vacant Southern Area Super Middleweight Title) Derek Chisora vs Matt Skelton (Vacant Southern Area Heavyweight Title) Liam Walsh vs Martin Gethin (English Lightweight Title) Joe Baugley vs Vinny Mitchell III (Lightweight Rematch 6x3) Ryan Walsh vs TBA (Featherweight 6x3) Michael Walsh vs TBA (Super Bantamweight 6x3) Comments from Warren and Mitchell on fightnews. Its gonna be May http://www.fightnews.com/?p=38734
You don't want much, do you rob:? Thats a great undercard, but realistically it won't happen. Cleverley would be pretty much a certainty as he doesn't seem to have much of a fan base in wales, what with fighting down in London for the last year ot so.
If Warren want to sell 20,000 tickets in the 02 at £150 a pop hes gonna need a quality bill. This is not much better than the origional plan for the wembley bill.
I agree. To make his money back it will have to be one hell of a card to sell the tickets. Hopefully it's not the 22nd of May, 'cos I won't be able to go
Rob ? Do you ever go to watch boxing ? £150 per ticket for 20,000 ?? He's not gonna need a bill as stacked as the one you would like is he ? He's sold 20,000 plenty of times before with far lesser bills. One or two bigger names on the card and this will sell. And the majority of tickets will be under a ton by some distance
