I saw his recent knockout over Mendoza. I wasn't too impressed. That guy was leaving his jab out so often even I would've countered over it. Doesn't mean Mitchell is no good, but I can't say one way or the other right now.
Mate he is fighting Katsidis not Marquez?? You no the guy who got out boxed for nearly every round with the limited Juan Diaz.
Mitchell is a very good boxer, and showed fantastic maturity against Prescott, when in the past he would have steamed right in, he has good stamina, a decent chin and can fight when required. It will be interesting to see how Mitchell handles Katisdis non-stop pressure, but he can certainly outbox him.
I think the young fella Mitchell should be given some credit. Good fighter, he deserves his World Title shot. He has done things the right way building his way up gaining domestic titles and moving up the ranks. He has defo earned his WBO number 1 contender slot. Unlike some fighters who seem to jump the queue and somehow get a World title shot. Mitchell Vs Katsidis will be a hell of a fight.
