Mitchell sobered up, phoned Frank and explained he was just drunk and wants out of the fight

Obviously this is a disappointment. Murray's one of my favourite British fighters and this was bound to be a good fight.

I can understand in Mitchell didn't want the fight. Murray's a hell of a first fight back, and frankly I don't think Kevin's going to be quite the same with how Katsidis knocked him to pieces. He was out-thought and out-fought, and by a guy few people consider to be an intelligent fighter (although he's obviously a clever cookie out of the ring). That will be hard to recover from.

More importantly, Kevin is a small lightweight. That's fine when you can crack (he's got decent pop, but hardly concussive) or when you're slippery and evasive (he's got fast feet but isn't particularly quick to react). So, against a pressure fighter like Murray, he's going to struggle to keep him off.

So, I understand if he needs more time to get ready, but just say so. My feeling is that "politics" = money. Whatever calculation's causing the problem, that's a real hame it's caused the fight to be cancelled.

    :rofl

I only suggested this for the euro as there are very little contenders out there

Arthur has a good record and is promoted by Warren
