Mitchell outboxes Murray quite easily... I actually think Mitchell hits a considerable amount harder than Murray aswell

Mitchell for me, not an easy fight though... could be a war!

Pointless thread because Joe Gallagher will never let this fight happen.

Expect John to fight another unknown tomato can with 10 losses on his record.

    50/50.

We all saw in Mitchell's last fight that he folded under pressure.

This obviously shows he doesn't handle pressure very well. Katsidis isn't a huge puncher, and nor is Murray. I think they are fairly level in that department but I give Katsidis the edge of course.

Mitchell could potentially outbox him from long range, but I'm sure Murray would try to implement the same game-plan Katsidis used, which was by stalking him down and cutting the ring off and exploiting the holes in Mitchell's defence.

It would depends also on how Murray would cope with a guy who would box from long range, and has decent pop on his punches.

Very much a 50/50 fight for me.

I disagree. His power is good, not great.

He went the distance (and lost) against Juan Diaz, who Paulie Malignaggi hurt..

His power is better than Murray though, but not by a huge margin.

    This depends on two things...

How much has Katsidis taken out of Mitchell (not phsyically as Parris stopped it when it was obvious he was out of his depth, but mentally) and is Murray is as good as they all say...

If a shell of Mitchell gets into the ring against Murray then it would be a very embarasingly easy win for the Manchester man. However, a pre-Katsidis Mitchell is good enough to beat a Murray who may have been over-rated.

It would be an intriguing match.
