Simpson will wear Bell down and stop him, late-ish I think.

If Bell was going to succeed as a pro he would have done it by now. He should have stayed amateur.

Telling everyone how brilliant Warren is in interviews is cringeworthy also...... what has Warren ever done for him?

Gutted about this. This is like the John Murray situation all over again for Burns.

Billy, seeing as wraps wont answer me now that i've upset him by saying Kev bottled the Burns fight perhaps you could help me out.....

Will Mitchell fight at 140 against Prescott ? Prescotts last 2 have been at 140, or are they gonna try and get him to boil back down to 135 ?

    Regards

You obviously dont rate simpson as im sure you have said before on other threads that he would lose against truscott then lindsay now bell. thats your opinion but i reckon hes the best featherweight in europe not just the uk at the moment and will prove it over the next 3 or 4 fights. 1st bell then lindsay get the british back defend it once to then when it outright then crack at the euro.

Victor your wrong there mate, I rate Simpson. I picked him against Truscott. So much so that I had around £50 on him to win via stoppage :good

I just like Bell thats all

Maybe i got you mixed up with the other dan do apologise. think alot of people had john on to win by stoppage that night went from 6-1 the week before the fight in to 3-1!!! I rate bell and so does john he isnt taking this fight lightly he knows how good a technical fighter he is so much so he thinks it will be a harder fight than truscott but i just think john is really starting to shine under billy nelson and will only get better under himand being in his gym getting top sparring.

Fair do's. Bell will definately be harder than Truscott. He will not be drawn into a battle the way Truscott was. Truscott likes to get involved but was nowhere near strong enough to do so with Simpson. Truscott has heart i'll give him that but Bell is a very very classy boxer :deal

Totally agree with you bell wont let john have it his own way he will keep it at distance and not get invoved. I think that was maybe truscotts game plan before the fight but when he stepped in the ring it seemed to go out the window maybe he got caught up in the atmosphere in front of his own fans and then when he got cut it was as if he thought he needed to stop john before the fight was stopped. So you reckon bell wins on points? surely not a stoppage as john wont be stopped by anyone in europe IMO

it is very difficult to try and box someone for 12 rounds eventually a mistake will be made and be capitapalised upon, john simpson has the ability to force mistakes and will do so imo no feather weight in europe can match his workrate and he can dig

i'm sure mitchell would have liked to have won a title at 130 it was a pritty **** division, altough i still believe he would have lost to most of the top 10
