Agree with all of this. Quality, intriguing and meaningful matchup between two (arguably) World class operators (certainly top ten material) I'll take Kev to land the sharper shots, cone through the hard early going and force a stoppage late behind on the cards.
If Rees has dealt with his stamina issues then he takes a points victory, I'm not sure that he will be in the right shape to beqts Mitchell though. A Rees when he's trained properly would beat Mitchell.
i fail to see what's so good about gavin rees, he throws pitter patter punches and tries to shoe shine whenever he gets up on the inside, he gets busted up pretty easily by guys who aren't noted punchers, and he comes in with his head, mitchell would uppercut him all night and stop him in the 6th
Is that the Mexaache of Thaxton fame? Whatever happened to him? Thought he vacated he title to fight for world honours :think
Good fight that for Mitchell. Should win that comfortably enough and then i'd like to see him fight Burns
Yeah I think so LP, It all depends on what Mitchell turns up though, He's not been the most active of fighters over a good two maybe three year period, Ultimately I think he's a much better boxer than Rees.
