I see this as a bit of a 50/50 fight but Ricky has been more active and in with better opponents of late so I go with Ricky to edge a UD.

no chance! ok mitchell squares up and walks into punches which can get him buzzed if Burns can time his punches, but Mitchell has a very good beard plus Burns doesn't have the pop to back him up let alone stop him inside the distance, No way he should be looking for the stoppage here, he has to be disciplined, stick to a game plan of spoiling on the inside and potshotting and establishing the jab, his best chance of winning is to go to the cards.

I feel that shots that will do the damage will be to the body.....:yep

Who said anything about looking for a stoppage...:think

I think that Burns will box his way to a stoppage and not have to look for it.... The pace of this contest is where it will tell... I think that if Burns draws KM into the trenches he will do what Carl Johannsen didn't.....:bbb

When did Mitchell last fight ?

When did he last go through a solid 12 rounds ?

That defo makes a difference for me.

I think he will come quick to Burns, try and flush him OR sit and wait and try to box waiting for Burns to get heady and move in, yet if Burns dosent........his impatience will play a factor.

On paper right now Mitchell is the favourite and he knows it, regarding promoter, previous outings etc etc...........i reckon this will get to him.

Or if Mitchell draws him into the trenches......as mentioned, over eager regarding lack of fight/ring-time :hey

    Good post anyways :good
