Mitchell vs Chagaev possible for 7-7

Either guy will beat Seth. Chauncy is Chagaev on steroids. You forget. Chauncy was Chagaev in Povetkin's HW Title Capturing Camp. Chauncy made Povetkin work his arse off and pushed him so hard that by the time Chagaev stepped into the ring it was a step down for Sasha. Some of their camp wars were posted by Russian press and it was body work brutality. I know Povetkin and Welliver are friends but I think Chauncy beats him if they match up rather easily. Smashing Zumbano who is WBA #15 could make that fight a much better possibility.

Chagaev is still tough though. A former world champ in slight decline. Health is probably the biggest reason for that. He's not a prime and rising commodity. Chauncy Welliver is. You will never see the best of Chagaev again. But Chauncy will shatter his ceiling the next time he gets a chance on the big stage. HBO is picking the wrong guy IMO. But still a guy capable of beating Mitchell.

 

Who said anything about Wlad??? Chagaev sucks man who are you kidding. You pick him the win because he is white.Arreola will beat Wlad btw.

Mitchell deserves props if he takes this fight, these are the kind of fights the HW division needs, hope it happens :good

 

Chagaev would be a stern test for Mitchell. Let's hope they get it on.
