I think I'm probably going to pick Murray.

Because everyones picking Mitchell and its annoying me.

I don't know, its just winding me up opening the Mitchell/Murray threads and seeing 'Mitchell', 'Mitchell UD', 'Mitchell outboxes him', 'Mitchell', 'Kevin Mitchell'. It doesn't seem that realistic to me, how cocksure our resident forumites are about this one. So I'm just going to pick Murray to be contrary.

Mitchell is (was?:hey) pretty solid at this level though, the big question for me would be his motivation for the sport.

....totally agree with this, mitchell hasnt the desire or hunger as has been proven in past with the katsidis fight.Ie the lack of training, discipline he showed. He just doenst live the life.murray has the heart and bottle, granted he wasnt at his best in his last outing in that down there london, but he will learn from that and be finely tuned for mitchell:bbb

OK... will that sell though? I don't think that Michell will be able to bank on loads of West Ham supporters turning out like last time (not at Upton Park, closer to Millwall, he's not unbeaten).

The better boxer doesn't always win.

In this fight, there are a lot of other factors. Like the fact Mitchell just got smashed to bits and has been very inactive. They're two very important issues to note. The first can affect the whole mindset, which is critical in a fighting sport. The second erodes the skills, or at least blunts them.

It isn't too difficult to tempt Mitchell into a bit of a battle though is it? Apart from Prescott, who while being a reasonable puncher, has no other redeeming features, he's never really conclusively outboxed anybody. C-Jo drew him into a war. It's not going to be that easy to keep Murray off of him without standing with him at some point.
