Mitchell vs Murray

No knee jerk reaction here. As I said all along, Murray will be too strong for Michell, for me Murray walks through Mitchell around 8/9 rounds.

 

Now this fight makes total sense. What better way then to come back against the best Lightweight in Britain and Europe (on paper). Unless, Mitchell is ballsy enough to come straight back against someone like Soto.

 

Mitchell will beat Murray, simple as that. Mitchell losing to Katsidis proved what?? That he simply got beat by a World Class fighter. Is Murray World Class?? **** no. Murray would have got wiped out by Kat also. Who the **** has Murray fought?! Get real.
Mitchell loses now people jumping on Murray's balls.

 

Hahaha I said all along Murray smashes Mitchell all day long. Who has Murray fought you could say the same about Mitchell Prescott and Johansen in 31 fights and getting smashed to pieces by Kats, lets not over rate Kats now mate, he got ko's by Grand dad Cassamayor and took to school by one dimensional Diaz.

I agree that Kat aint that great but mate, like I said who has Murray fought?? He hasn't even fought anyone of the level of Johanneson or Prescott. He aint got **** all head movement and walks foward in straight lines. He is domestic level.
Grand dad Casamoyor is one of the greatest lightweights of this era, Diaz one dimensional?? So what is Murray then. hahaha Diaz and Casamoyor would stand Murray on his ****ing head.

He should fight a decent domestic fighter.

 

Oh dont get me wrong I don't think Murray will do much at World Class, he is nothing special I agree, and no way am I discrediting Cassamayor one of my favourite fighters of past 12 or so years legend and a great fighter in his day but Cassamayor was way past his beat and beat Kats, and Diaz is limited and been proved recently, all am saying is that Katsidis is a world class fighter but not the best and id have plenty of fighters to take him at 135, and the ease he has dispatching in Mitchell even makes me more confident Murray would beat Mitchell. But hey mate it's all about opinions and your's is valid.

really really hope kev can bounce back from this. id pick mitchell to win this but needs a confidence booster before this and im not talking bout some bum he can blow out in 1 or 2 rounds

 

I think it is a disgrace that someone like John Murray who is always in the gym and in excellent shape and has proven he is the best in Britain at lightweight gets overlooked, and a guy like Mitchell can step up, get a massive fight and he doesn't even train for it properly.

Not Mitchell's fault of course, and probably a lot to do with Fat Mick.

I hope the Mitchell - Murray fight happens and if it does I hope Mitchell prepares for it like he did for the Katsidis fight as he would get knocked out in the later rounds by Murray.

 

don't know how you can say this. Kat has only lost to the top boys. Just because you are not top boy in your division, does not make you wank.
It is far too an elitist opinion

 

People put too much on the Prescott win for Mitchell, just because Prescott blew away Khan, people forget Prescott lost his fight before Mitchell too and looked poor.

Other than that Mitchell has fought at domestic level and nearly got beat there, Murray walks through him imo.
