Wlad, Vitali I agree with. Povetkin wins decision, Adamek school him to a decision/late TKO, Fury knocks Mitchell out in 6, Helenius beats him by robbery in finland (joking late ko helenius), Thompson wins decision, Pulev could go either way, and Arreola wins decision.

The one lingering question about Mitchell was answered last night.....would his lack of defense be a detriment. YES, it certainly was a detriment.

But, he showed decent recovery skills and found a way to come back and do what he does.
Yes it was vs a lower tiered B level guy in Witherspoon, but Chazz actually lacks only a few things himself to be a much better fighter.

The only guys who are gonna beat Mitchell are beasts like himself, or precision punchers with good power themselves. The guys who beat him are gonna have to have iron chins or impenetrable defenses combined with the power and skill mentioned above.

Adamek-----china chin. No HW power. Good defense...IN SPOTS.
Dimitrenko. Better power than Adamek, but that aint saying much. Chin is a huge issue as well.
Fury. Chin and poor defense issues similar to Mitchell. Mitchell has the edge in power, so I gotta pick him.
Pulev....fights too slow a pace, but overall a far superior fighter. Has shown a solid beard thus far, but hasn't exactly been hit either.

Last night I would said Arreola would be crying early vs Mitchell. This morning.....well, we all saw how Mitchell is capable of tearing up himself. Arreola would be smiling, Mitchell, crying. :verysad

:good another unbiased Mitchell fan. Nice to see.:deal

    Good post.

How far does he need to come to get that defense right enough to protect and gain confidence in his punch resistance?

Should he continue forward from here, or take a step back and be more carefully matched until he's corrected those 2 flaws?:think

I'm sure your'e not lying about a proposed fight, but it aint exactly a duck considering Mitchell's getting 100K+ as a headliner, and Im certain the numbers weren't near close to that. This is a business afterall.

And Mitchell's been lined up for well over two months, so the proposed contract was likely after Adamek UDd Aguilera. Not exactly a duck considering the circumstances.

But if Adamke survives Chambers next, Im sure Mitchells licking his chops at the though of fighting a pillowfist.

Nice AVVY Joe. And good picks except I can't imagine Adamek could take one single flush shot from Mitchell without finding himself in the 3rd or 4th row.
