Don't know why everyone is writing off Mitchell.

Katsidis is one hell of a warrior, but he's had TOO many wars and gets hit far too easily.

Don't forget that he's only got one stoppage in his last 7 fights (and got stopped once) whereas before that, he was on a roll of 12 stoppages (one fighter retired).

Not taking anything away, I give Mitchell credit for taking on a warrior, but he is well past prime, whereas Mitchell is on his way up.

The aim would be to keep a safe distance (don't try to brawl it out with this guy), use the jab regularly, go for power shots one at a time (he hasn't got the best defence, so landing shouldn't be a problem), and gradually break Katsidis down.

Is everyone writing off Mitchell? Opinions on here seem pretty evenly split and Mitchell is a clear favourite in the betting.

he isn't going to be able to box at distance all night, Katsidis is the naturall stronger, bigger man with a harder punch and has mixed in far better company and is a career lightweight.

    This is Mitchell's biggest test.

Im not sure if every1 is writting Mitchell off, William Hill certainly aint. If anything i would make Katsidis the slight favourite as he has faced better opposition to date.

If he boxes like he did Prescott, he will win confortably IMO. If he goes to war, i fear Mitchell willget KO'ed

Seems to be split. It's a good solid fight. Katsidis will come in shape and to fight. He'll be strong and powerful. If he catches you resting, he'll put your lights out. I just hope it is exciting and Mitchell doesn't run.

I think its going to be an extremly tough fight for Kevin to win. Have watch 6 Katsidis fights in the last week.

He may have lost twice but he is under rated. He is one of the best at cutting of the ring. he leaves no distance between himself and the other fighter. He doesn't allow his opponents to counter punch him. He is the lead puncher always creating opportunities for himself. When he gets inside he is a fantastic body puncher. He will just chop you down.

His defense is better than people think. He is not just a swinging brawler. He fights out of the shell, he has his hands up and will block punches at the start of his attacks. Even when he is throwing bombs he still has a good defense and is blocking punches.

Katsidis losses have come agaisnt Juan Diaz and Joel Casamayor. The fight against Diaz was a very close fight. Casamayor is a southpaw and a great great fighter. Casamayor hurts Katsidis with his left hand and Katsidis could not handle the southpaw stance early in the fight. Mitchell is nothing like Casamayor. and remember Katsidis was dominating the fight until Casamayor threw that great punch. Katsidis does not have a bad chin, anyone would get hurt if they leave themselves open and get hit flush.
