burns didnt beat johansen let alone mitchell or martinez, i agree burns then martinez but thats business for ya, a warm up with burns would be good sparring for kev in prep for WBO

but he has'nt got the power to trouble mitchell or the chin to take the punches mitchell can deliver

How very little you know about the sport son if you think Burns is a sparring session for Mitchell. I've said all along that if Mitchell doesn't take a fight before fighting Burns he gets beat - Oh Martinez is not the fight i'm talking about either

The tomato can Motchell fought last time out lasted virtually the whole fight, therefore i'm sure Burns will be in there with him till the end. So if he's not blasting him out of there, he's not defending himself, how does he win ?

Well thats your opinion pal and its obviously a biased one (you are a family member so no matter how much you try and back it up its a biased opinion) Should the fight materialise this year then we'll see ourselves how it pans out pal :good

if you knew who i was and i conversed with you often about boxing you would deffo not say i am biased i have always said it how it is, if we were talking about pac v kev then all you have said i would have agreed with but your talking about burns and thats a different story, only the fight night will reveal all :smooch

if you watched the fight properly you will have noticed mitchell backed of several times in enforcing a stoppage in order to get rounds in, perhaps you dont watch mitchell box much, if you did you would'nt have made that assumption

Wraps, fair enough pal but I will never believe you to be fair in your opinion because he's from your family, and to be honest I would always believe (well even if I didn't I'd never say it on here) that a family member of mine was gonna win. You can't use the pac man example because you know full well you'd get laughed off the forum for it

And I was at Kevs last fight and very very close to the ring too and I do not believe he was backing off to let the fight continue.

Either way mate you seem sound and its your opinion against mine. Nice to discuss it with you properly without the teddies being threw out of the pram.

Also you can't seriously believe Kev can take Martinez in his next fight. He needs at least a couple of warm ups with Roach behind him

i am being honest i am not biased has i said if you knew me personally you would know im an honest person and am not led by my emotions, again you didnt talk to kev or you would have known he trained 3 weeks for that fight and needed the rounds, kev is very competitive so a weak opponent will not wet his appetite, yes i agree he could do with the burns fight 1st and maybe another after that, but has business goes it whats dished up, it would be ideal for kev to have a few more fights (not with ricky because both boys can earn more for WBO instead of british) but i know kev will beat martinez ive watched both boxers at their best and the outcome is mitchell all the way, when kev boxes him you will see what i mean, kev will be in top shape ;)

Hey wraps dont get me wrong i'll be as happy as you if he does win it (alright probably not AS happy considering who you are) but i'd worry about him fighting Martinez this year. If he does all the best to him and pass that on too. I'll be cheering him along.

    You are biased though

wraps, you aint got a clue mate, imo kevin will be ko'd by martinez when they meet, hes far to easy to hit and that guy can hit and hit hard, ricky burns has the skill and speed and brains to beat both.burns hopes mitchell wins so he can give him a total schooling.

kevin wouldnt risk his ranking to meet burns before martinez,no danger.
