I thought of it all by myself too.

 

Yeah I dunno. I think knowing and reacting to a shot that is coming, and subtle defensive movements determine if your chin is china or not. It at least accounts for 75% of it. The other 25% could be natural born. Guys like Oliver McCall and Ibeabuchi come to mind for that 25%.

In my opinion, Seth Mitchell gets KO'd because he does not understand (or is skilled at) defense whatsoever. You could see (and hear it) when shots land on him. He takes it full like a head on collision. And I am no Mitchell fan by any stretch of the imagination, just an fyi.

And finally, there are plenty of pure boxers who rarely get hit who do extremely well. So that throws your whole 'needing a chin' argument out the window. Example - Gamboa. Beats everyone, and damn near gets sat down every time too. Please don't tell me he has a chin. Anyways, stfu and fall back.

No one denies the existence of poor punch resistance, people just don't like you because you disrespect boxers who get in the ring and fight regardless of whether they have a bad chin, something you would never do.

 

Heaven forbid any boxing fan criticizes anything about the heroes some of you blindly worship.

Sorry, when you put yourself out there as a public figure, you better be prepared to take the criticism of what you do. Comes with the job. And if you have a glass jaw - a discerning, critical boxing fan will point that out. :deal

Calling a boxer a 'glass jawed joke' with laughing emoticons is pretty disrespectful. I know you haven't boxed so I don't really hold your opinion on anybody's ability to take a punch too highly. Yes boxers can have terrible punch resistance like Mitchell but to laugh at a man who steps in the ring and risks his life because he got knocked out is embarassing for someone who calls themselves a fan of boxing.
