I'm not sure about that, for some reason I think Saunders could go the distance.

If BJS beats lee we might get him in Monaco but that's if he gets past lee.

GGG looks like a pretty small middle to me, I doubt his power transfers that well at 168, he looks like he may could maybe do 154 easier, ward started off at 175 I think so I doubt that fight gets done, ward v the guys at 175 would be good, ward to waltz them around the ring with all his hugging and clinching and then get awarded a wide UD win by his judges, in the bag

These Golovkin threads just seem to go around in circles.

Round n' round n' round. A veritable ferris wheel of redundancy and lunacy.

He's fun to watch, because he's putting asses on canvases, but if he wants to be somebody he has to beat somebody worth beating. At 33 how much time do he really has left. Most fighters by this time has been tested, GGG has not. Fighters in his own class don't want to fight him, so it's time for him to move up and fight those fighters that would.

The haters don't care that GGG is outweighed by Ward. They have an agenda to stick by but you won't see one Ward fan demanding him (Ward) to go up to 175 and fight Kovalev.

How is it GGG's fault when he called out Ward since 2012 and Ward rather commentates GGG's fight, fights Rodriguez instead of GGG, becomes inactive, fights Smith and says he needs 1, 2 tune up fights before fighting GGG?

So what is Gennady supposed to so now? Becoming inactive untill Ward is ready?

This part makes very little sense.

In his own class, he still has Lemieux, Chocolate, Canelo (functionally) Cotto (presumptively) and Lee, all deccent match ups.

He probably wants to clean out his natural division before moving up.

Did Monzon ever move up ? Or Hagler ?

Ward boils down to 168 and GGG has never so much as had to diet to make 160.

We're really talking a guy who should've started at 140-147 vs a guy who could have easily started at 175.

But yeah... Difference would be 15 lbs on fight night

I feel where you're coming from, but if they won't fight him, how can he clean out the division? So do he retire a or move on with his career? He's 33, and still can't get a fight with none of these guys. At 168lbs these guys won't have a problem with fighting him because they're naturally the bigger man, but just because they're bigger doesn't mean they're better. Who knows he might just excel at that weight. He's has punching power, and some skill to go with it. It's not like he's jumping from middle weight to light heavyweight. Truthfully I think he should of call Ward out, to be his first fight back. GGG would of had the advantage, because he didn't have ring rust to shake off, but that didn't happen.
