Hi. I have some questions. I do not follow MMA at all, but I have questions. In MMA fights, do they get a 10-8 round for a KD? Are there even KDs since they're allowed to pounce on a dropped fighter? Have there been wars that go the distance? It seems all fights end early and on the ground. Are you allowed to stomp on someone's head or kick them in the head soccer style if they're on the ground?
Not sure about first one. Yes, quite a few. Funny enough all the best fights are standing shoot outs yet so many MMA fans hate boxing! Not in the UFC, you was allowed to in the Japanese org PRIDE.
No, they don't count knockdowns. If you get knocked down then the opponent can ground and pound you until the ref stops the fight. Yeah, lots of championship fights between high caliber fighters go the distance. Some are FOTY candidates. No, not anymore. That rule was allowed in PRIDE though.
Boxing>MMA I do not wish to watch sweaty men get on the ground and wrap their arms and legs around eachother and squeeze. That being said, if some dude was to threaten my Wife and I, having MMA skills would be better than my better than average pugilist skills.
all copied from boxing 10 point system clapping 10 seconds before the bell weight class names p4p terms michael buffers brother and much more
MMA fighters are generally jack of all trades and masters at none. Their boxing technique is horrid. It's an embarrassment and brings anyone with a lick of boxing training to tears. Not only does their boxing suck but their Muay Thai and Jujutsu skills typically suck badly as well. Most MMA fighters are just dumb collegiate level wrestlers. That's their bread and butter.
Not only that but their chins are pure china. I love watching this jokes get KOd. It's the only reason to ever watch this garbage
