Oleinik will very likely get his lights switched off if Hunt can keep it standing up long enough to land with something big, though. If Mark Hunt gets by Oleinik here, maybe he can fight Junior Dos Santos again?

@St00 I don't know if this notification works. I wasn't notified, I happened upon this thread. Most of us now know that the UFC was created to showcase the effectiveness of BJJ to the world. OP may not have known this in 2007, and that is reasonable. OP is one of the best posters ever, on any discussion board! Has MMA drifted from it's original purpose? In a sense...yes. The UFC was created to show that BJJ was the most effective Martial Art. That is no longer the game. MMA has morphed into it's own kind of sport. Positions have been taken away from BJJ players. Once upon at time there were no stand ups...no separations...up kicks from the guard were ok...reasons why BJJ was important. The powers that be prefer a mindless slug out with little technique to interpret. "****ing fighting" became the way. MMA's scoring system doesn't work. We currently have a sport trapped in the 10 point must system, that works for boxing and not MMA.
