MMA exposed by RAY MERCER

Sylvia sucks but his condition was a disgrace in that fight. He looked like a Janitor getting ready to rumble with the P.E. teacher.

Yes he was a former UFC HW champ:rofl That's what maks it so bad. Can you imagine of a former HW boxing champ was koed by a MMA fighter in a boxing match.

sylvia was the former UFC heavyweight champion. He lost his last few fights but he was on top for a while. He had a shitty boring style and everyone hated him but he was effective. He was called "The John Ruiz of his generation"

According to the vid below it he is an 'established champion'. Prior to this Mercer KO I'd never heard of him. Out of interest I just looked him up and he's a former two time UFC 'Heavyweight Champion', for what that's worth.

Don't get mad at me that a 50 year old boxer koed a former UFC champ in a MMA match in less than 15 seconds.:yep Don't get mad at me because I've been saying these guys were wanna be tough guys with mohawks and tattoos and wash out WWF wrestlers with no real talent or skills. I guess from Mercer's success you'll start to see more shot boxers go over to UFC for easy money and easy pickings. And like I said in an earlier thread a prime Mike Tyson would KO any current or past MMA fighter in 10 seconds or less.:deal

 

I am a fan of both sports, but this incident definitely does not make MMA look very good.

No matter how much you think Sylvia sucks at his craft, he was still universally recognized as a top 10 heavyweight fighter and a 2-time former UFC heavyweight champ. He fought for the UFC title just one year ago. He got destroyed by a 48 year old boxing retiree who has a MMA record of 0-1, with that one loss to Kimbo ****in Slice. This is utterly embarassing for MMA. No denying it. It's equivalent to Royce Gracie stepping out of retirement and into a boxing ring and knocking out Chad Dawson.

 

whats really sad is how mercer is washed up as a boxer and is f'ing 48!!!

 

Note that Ray Mercer is uber shot,needed 2 minute rounds to beat ''The Dutch Sonny Liston'' aka ''I got a cool nickname but I'm a bum'' Richel Hersisia and is 48 years old,that means 15 more than Sylvia.
