maybe against some of the journeymen, the heavyweight devision is a real joke these days. but if brock would go against an eddie chambers or one of the klitchko brothers his chances go from pretty fair to slim and none. note in my last post the word "anyone".
MMA idiocy at the highest level. Brock could train purely in boxing for the rest of his life and he would never make a dent in the heavyweight scene. Professional boxing is such a refined sport that it takes decades to be competitive in. A boxer would never become champion in his fifth fight.
i agree with you in mma takedowns and ground fighting are probobly the most important stuff to learn and years of experience are better then months, this is so important that i belive that eventually mma fights will evolve into nothing but jujitsu matches. but i agree this argument of mma vs boxing simply goes in circles lets just agree that both sports have streangths and weaknesses but personaly i was born a boxing fan and will die a boxing fan.
^^^^thats the truth. You will never be the champion of **** with a 3-1 record like the one brock lesnar has in a sport like boxing. Arreola would eat his ass up in 2 rounds or less even if lesnar had 5 years to prepare himself
Leon Spinks beat Ali in his 8th pro fight. I don't know how many amateur fights he had, but Lesnar was 106 - 5 in wrestling and that is the equivalent of an amateur boxing career. Anyway, I actually prefer boxing, I just think MMA gets a lot of hate on here.
lol I didnt say he would come into boxing and clean house there fella. . Im just saying that if he trained for lets say 5 months, then turned pro boxer, he would probably fair pretty well moving up when you consider the lack of talent boxing has to offer in that division understand. . im a boxing fan first. In no way am i delusional about the limits fighters will have from either sport. the fact that Lesnar has tons of power, hes fast, can apparently take a punch, and showed signs that he can cut fighters off are all tremendous traits that alot of heavy weight boxers these days dont even have.
What's so profane? Going off of what the US Olympic boxing team has looked like in recent years, I see no reason to gratuitously sh*t all over college wrestling.
MMA fighters aren't on the same level as the elites boxers when it comes to stand ups. Just look at Friffin a wrestler trying to BOX. Silva made him look like a clown. A jab KO'ed him bwahahahah :rofl
I don't know who the **** this Torres guy is, but Mayweather destorys him in 30 seconds. Easy. Boxer>>>>UFC/MMA fighter all day everyday and twice on sunday.
That doesn't matter. A fat old Ray Mercer knocked out that UFC champion dude in 10 seconds...with UFC/MMA rules.
