In the past we’ve had kickboxers and Muay Thai Fighters who became world champion boxers...are there any mixed martial artists who could do it?...if brought along at the proper pace of course

It is hard to tell but I prescribe to the opinion that if they had the makings of a good boxer they would not be an MMA fighter.....the money potential in boxing far exceeds what they can make MMA

I don't pay any attention to the men's MMA, however....I'm a huge fan of the wimmens...
Loved Gina Carano, Holly Holm, and that little Polish gal, to name just a few.

Boston Salmon had a reputable amateur boxing career and got sparked in his UFC debut by Manuel Kape.

Randy couture could have been a pretty good boxer, dont think he would be a champ but a very solid contender, Nate Diaz also has good hands and a great chin, does cut easy but was a good sparring partner according to andre ward

Most of the MMA guys that actually boxed in a ring did not look terribly good. I'm talking about career MMA guys now, not guys that wrestled and boxed at the same time at some point in their lives, or in that case we're talking about dudes like GGG.

I'd say it's a reasonable assumption to make that this is because of relative inexperience. So, assuming a proper lead into boxing:

Aleksander Emelianenko. Big dude with accurate, fast hands. Looked very good boxing vs MMA guys. There are better examples of him fighting, but this is because it was funny, to me:

Mirko Cro Cop. He actually was a boxer first, so that kind of explains it. Heavy handed, here he is in a fine scrap with K1 fighter Feitosa:

Bas Rutten. I always liked his crisp straight punching:

There's more. Arlovski seemed handy, as well as dos santos and Velazques. Emelianenko did venture into boxing but even though he won his fights, he struggled against mediocre opponents. It's not easy picking up a specialised discipline like boxing in a short space of time, and vice vera as well.

Cody Garbrandt, as far as I know he is the only MMA fighter with a legitimate amateur Boxing background. You can see it when he fights.

If Brazil could have produced it's own great in the 2000's, it would be because Anderson Silva wound up at Eder Jofre's door. Rather than at Chute Boxe.

Also just wandered across this, https://www.lowkickmma.com/top-10-craziest-mma-gym-fight-stories/

The MMA community knows her as Joanna Champion, rather than the polish alphabet soup last name. Even Mike Goldberg pronounced it differently every time.
