MMA Fighters who would have made good boxers

    For my money Bob Schreiber had better hands than anyone mentioned thus far. His fights with Yvell and Manhoef are still the best stand up fights ive ever seen in MMA

    If Lyoto had started out with a boxing base rather than karate, he had the attributes to be a good boxer. His reflexes, timing and distance were exceptional, but his style would have evolved differently if he got into boxing earlier. His chin and power were pretty good, although probably not elite level.

    Vovchanchyn had some freakish attributes (power and timing), but with his lack of height and reach he'd have to really develop his defence in a way he didn't have to in MMA.

    I don't think you can ignore McGregor as well (as much as many would like to). Assuming on the level, he did a lot better against Floyd than a fighter making his pro debut had any right to.
