Ken Shamrock - One of MMA's biggest pioneers. The guy fought at UFC 1 and was main eventing the 1st live card on Spike TV almost 12 years later. Won the UFC Superfight Championship, was a King of Pancrase and defeated alot of the top guys of the 90s. Ken ran the Lions Den which was one of the best camps in the 90s and this guy really helped put the sport of the map with his rivalry with Tito Ortiz and his run in the WWF which sparked alot of interest in MMA. Bas Rutten - King of Pancrase and UFC Heavyweight Champion. Went on to appear in several movies and TV shows because of his popularity along with his talent. Bas had an outstanding career as an announcer in Pride that was just as strong as his very accomplished MMA carrer. Pat Miletich - Pat was a long time UFC welterweight Champion but probably more notable is his career as a trainer. Founded Miletich Fighting Systems and trained more World Champions then anyone with guys like Hughes, Lawler, Sylvia, Pulver etc.
Being UFC champion didnt mean much, UFC was bush league. Although some of those fighters are still great fighters.
To be honest , if there was a HOF outside of the UFC's (forgive me but I've never heard of the Global MMA HOF) . All of the above barring Cro Cop would already be in it , without doubt , and Cro Cop would be a certainty to be inducted down the line anyway Therefore I'm going to pick 3 men outside of the list Fedor Emilianenko Antonio Rodrigo Minotauro Noguiera BJ Penn If 3 inductee's where taking place tomorrow , they would be my 3
