The original question was about Carwin being above Fedor, so I thought you were comparing losses,

Actually, if you are not, I dont' really think you are really making a point, sorry.

Just to confirm to your Shinya Aoki dominated MMA dumb ass head !!!!

My comparison was Velasquez to Silva , and the fact Silva bulldozed Fedor , pointing towards a further fact that Velasquez (being a much more skilled fighter than Silva IMO , and stylistically) would dominate Fedor in this day and age . Is that clear enough for you ??!!

I didn't say I would take Nogueira to defeat Overeem. If he had a recent win, his recent resume is just better than Overeem's. Overeem has yet to face anyone of Cain's, or Mir's, stature. Nog's wins over Herring, Sylvia, and Couture trump anything Overeem has done thus far.

That could well change the weekend. I'm confident in an Overeem victory this weekend, but I won't be changing my rankings until it actually happens.

That lineage was broken when Fedor lost his world ranking by refusing to fight Randy Couture in 2007. The new lineage was created by Couture's return to the UFC as the World Heavyweight Champion. A title he went on to lose to Brock Lesnar and now held by Cain Velazquez the man who should be rightfully ranked at the top. Thank Dana White for buying out Strikeforce so we can finally see everyone fight everyone.

Thank Dana White for buying out Strikeforce so we can finally see everyone fight everyone. Overeem is going to get submitted by Werdum long before he even gets to the UFC much less when he gets to it and faces Nogueira. Big Nog chokes him to sleep.

The word "submitted" comes to mind!

Big Guy , do you know anything about Alistair Overeem ??? the man is an accomplished grappler , he is a young powerful athlete who in terms of pure strength would completly dominate Nogueira (who is on the slide these days and hasnt fought in over a year) . Even in a grappling contest in a GI i wouldnt fancy Noguiera to submit Overeem .

My gut feeling is that Overeem , should he live to his current hype and notch up some credible wins , will be the only HW to grace the UFC from SF , Silva is not a marketable fighter and if White had any sense he'd keep him on the SF roster if anything to add credibity to that promotion , not that the HW division in SF needs but credibility but im talking bigger picture in terms of promotion credibility here .

Fedor will more likely be retired by this time next year , and due to contractual obligations with M1 will not find himself on a UFC card anytime soon if ever , Barnett and White have issue's , Werdum has been there and half done it (previously cut from the UFC despite high profile wins) and frankly the rest of them are fillers ................

If my memory is correct it's neither because of Couture or Fedor this fight didn't happen, it's because of the dirty **** DW always pull to get what he wants !

i disagree with that cuz if we put carwin on the night that bigfoot beat fedor then fedor would have won.
carwin is much smaller and he would gas like a mother ****er after the first round if he dropped the bombs that bigfoot dropped and in the second fedor would have got a sub in the 2nd like Lesnar did
