Overeem hasn't beaten ****ing anyone of note at heavyweight and his record at LHW was less than amazing (including 2 losses to guys he's scheduled to fight in the not too distant future). I broke it all down in a thread not too long ago, but from memory, of his 9 wins a HW something like 7 or 8 of them were in the middle of a massive losing streak, or retired soon after, or both. If he gets past Werdum (a big ****ing IF) then he'll have a case for a higher spot. IF he takes out the whole GP then he has a strong case for number 1, but by that time it depends on what happens in the UFC, JDS may well have tkaen Cain Velasquez and defended once or twice (most likely against Mir and Brock), which would give him one of the best cases for #1 since Fedor and Nog before him. Ditto if Cain beats JDS and defends against whoever's next.

 

Better Cardio? Based on what? Bigfoot is a horse.
