What is this based on? If it's a list on who you think the best heavyweights are then its a mostly perfect list but if you are going on ranked wins etc. then it's not as good. :good

Remove Overeem from the top of that list and it's actually very decent.

It is just based on how i see each fighter at the moment regardless of fights that have taken place 2 years or so ago :D

For example i have Chad Griggs on the list even though he has not faced that many top guys... i think he will be a force when he gets the fights and he is at that level now.

The thing is though if you look at his record at HW is about 13-2-1NC (Correct me if i'm wrong). Pretty much all of them ending in first round knockout's or subs. He has only ever gone the distance twice... once in a catchweight fight against Belfort and once in a 205lbs fight against Lil Nog.

He is also 9-2 in K1 fights since 07'. Only going the distance 3 times... :hey

He is the current Strikeforce, Dream and K1 Champion. At this moment in time i see no one fighter doing what he is doing.

This is just my opinion though brah so take it easy on me :deal

I'll give you that his numbers and achievements look good, BUT, his biggest win in recent years is probably Brett Rogers... or maybe Mark Hunt (who was in the middle of a 6 fight losing streak, from which he still hasn't fully recovered). Who did he beat for his Strikeforce title? Paul Buentello. Who did he beat for the Dream title? Todd Duffee. WOW!

Granted, his K-1 achievements are fantastic, but that is not MMA. His triking is potentially the best in the division, but he hasn't beaten anyone of note at HW to be considered number 1. If he takes out Werdum in convincing fashion this weekend I'll start to change my tune. If he takes out the whole GP he has a very strong case for number 1, but by that time Cain or Dos Santos may have an even better case.

I still think he is number one. He may not have the CV yet but he will.

Who can take this power though? :bbb

Overeems ability to render guys totally unconscious is scary.

When he has the CV to back it up, I'll wholeheartedly support him as number one.... until then...

I never said he wouldn't win, tomorrows fight is not one I'd be betting on. Just like Cigano v Cain, as much as I want Cigano to win only an idiot would be putting money on it.
