I just wanted to state what you have in MMA is a hodge podge of experience without true singular focus. What you get with "pro" anything is that singular focus. You get to see the best of what that individual physical art form has to offer. Whereas you'll seldom ever get that in MMA. I'm not saying pro boxing is better than MMA. Both have their strengths. It's just one shows the pinnacle of one, and the other displays mid to low-level range abilities of EVERYTHING. Last thing to mention, UFC fighters are not "World Class Athletes" and they champions are not "World Champs" there company champs, once they realize that you can't be a world champ unless all organizations come as one with their athletes they will always be company fighters and not world classes MMAs....
Yes and no. It's true for some of them. But you make it sound as if these guys are the "jack of all trades" master of none type. Which isn't the case. Take Lesnar for ex. He's got "one" legit specialty. (wrestling) Fedor = sambo (he's a multi-champion in that discipline) Aoki = jiujitu Not to mention mma has a few , legit , olympic champions who are participating. (gold , silver & bronze medalists in judo & wrestling)... Obviously , they're not gonna focus on a single discipline because it's mma. and you imperatively have to learn new things. But still , a good majority of these guys already have one particular discipline , in which you can consider them as "pros". Do you have any empirical evidences to back up that claim ? Once again , you're generalising. The tank abbotts of mma aren't world class athletes...but how about gsp ? Are all boxers like butterbean ?...No. Why would this be the case in mma ? Or are you saying that they're not world class athletes because orgs are preventing them to fight certain participants and champions ? (because of contract exclusivity.) I guess that answers my question...or does it ?...But i guess i'll have to agree on that one. However , there are some exceptions. Even though they're "company champs"....There's ways to bypass this. One guy who did this was fedor. (by allowing him to fight 2 ex ufc belt holders). in affliction. Of course , it's not the same as beating them when they had their belt...but , better than nothing.
Boxing car, What you don't realize is that by Perfecting one form IE: Wrestling, and then become a wrestling division champ, you prove yourself as being the best in that division and ultimately better than everyone else....(In College) but by taking that focus away to study something else such as Striking, Ground N pound, Knees etc you are now removing yourself from your original discipline to cope with something entirely new, which i can say objectively is taking away what superbness you originally had.

I don't really understand your argument and why you think that takes away from MMA. If anything, it only enhances it, because a fighter can't be a one-trick pony, but is required to be great in multiple disciplines. If being a perfect wrestler or perfect boxer is the better result than the guy that knows everything but doesn't have a singular focus on one, then the wrestler/boxer should come in to MMA and easily wipe the floor with everyone, which doesn't happen. Lesnar getting submitted by Mir in the first fight for example. You're not going to argue that Lesnar is less of a fighter now because he learned submission defense are you? As another example: What's the point in a country's armed forces after all if it has the best Navy the world has ever seen but has no Army or Air Force to repel land forces or aircraft attacks? At the end of the battle, they're still going to lose regardless of their naval superiority.
