Agreed. The chick fight was the only good one, and the whole event came off like a lame version of "WWF Saturday Night Main Event".

What's worse is their premier fighter, Kimbo, won in BS fashion. This time around, Ken Shamrock is going to hand him his ass! Then they will have no one to bank on exept the American Gladiator chick, but she won't be able to carry a whole broadcast.

 

What kind of a boxing fan would watch that when you could be watching 6 great boxing fighters on HBO BAD?

Ill only watch it after ive gotten my filling of Boxing.

Why oh why did the camera mysteriously zoom out to the back of the ****ing arena right in the middle of the action?And why oh why was Kimbo allowed to stand back up during this exact moment?He was looking at the ref to stop the fight.He was gassed after doing next to nothing.

The **** was a bust and a chessy WWF quality production.

 

When 36% of Americans aren't aware of the switch from analog to digital service, what does tell you about the number of Americans who actually have cable? The bureaucracy that has kept boxing from moving back to basic free channels (abc, cbs, et cetera) will no doubt hurt its market. I think this will be more evident as the up coming generations will grow up watching and favoring MMA. It wouldn't surprise if MMA takes over Boxing, just as the NFL once conquered baseball, which a lot of people thought would be impossible.

About the fight...I don't see a geriatric Shamrock lasting

BTW the real MMA fighter's(UFC) fight on PPV just about every other week.

 

Only when you dont have friends.

I spend over $30 in gas just to chip in $10 on a PPV event sometimes.It's not all about paying and watching a fight.We usually make a night out of it.
