I've never seen Filho fight, so I left him off but acknowledge that he most likely will show up on others lists.

Personal preference thats all. I'm not the most knowledgable MMA fan, since I've only really been following solid for a year or two and really never watched much of Pride.

I honestly would have Penn up even higher, I think skillwise he is definitely top 5, maybe even top 3. GSP? He's just ****ing sick. He got caught by an obviously lesser fighter, but everyone else....he not only beat, but completely dominated.

Fedor is the best in the history of this sport (well..so far...)
Him being #1 p4p is almost irrelevant at this point...

And since he hasn't been too active recently...We might as well give the P4P #1 spot to anderson... At least for this year...

    2007 was his year.

Good list but St Pierre needs to be further down.. around 6-7.

The fact that BJ stepped up to 170 and beat Matt Hughes.. and was on his way to beating him before an injury in the rematch.. means hes #1.

He has great standup.. KO Power.. Ridiculous takedown defense.. and the best ground game in the sport.
Oh.. and one of the best chins too.

THE BEST P4P FIGHTER IN THE WORLD

If he beat him in rematch and beat St.Pierre, yea, he could possibly be #1. Almost a W doesn't count in this sport. It wasn't a lame illegal punch or anything. He lost.
I feel so dirty talking down on these fighters everytime im tryin to do some kind of rankings.

He lost to Matt because of a freak rib separation or something. If they fought again.. I'm picking BJ.

Heres what you have to take into consideration... BJ is a 155lb fighter. George St Pierre could probably fight at 185lb. He is MASSIVE at 170lb. Also.. GSP resorted to takedowns to beat BJ. BJ bloodied him up good when they were standing.

I have a hard time putting a heavyweight as best p4p.. cause they never really have a chance to prove it like BJ.

Heres how highly I hold BJ Penn.
I don't think a fight with Anderson Silva is a mismatch. I could see BJ winning. Maybe I'm out of my mind.. but you know what? I think BJ is crazy enough to do it.

Thats why he's the best p4p.

I think Hendo should be higher the guy is outweighted by 20+ pounds most of the time and the fight with Rampage was real close. St Pierre should be lower everyone he fights is smaller then he is and I feel BJ beat him.
