Alright if you all wanna do its let do it I got an idea. We predict the main fights for all the big shows every month UFC,WEC,Elite XC,Dream,Affliction. After the last show of every month the guy with the most points is the current Champion for that month. Heres my criteria for all single fights.

Win is a guaranteed 2 points
Being right on the way that fight ends (UD,SD,MD,KO-TKO ill count them together,DQ or Submission)is worth 5 points.
Being right on the finish and right on the round is worth 10 points.

Its all done week by week until the month ends and assuming we got some people joining I wann start this weekend and ill count May 31st as a part of June since theres the WEC going on Sunday.

    Kimbo Slice vs James Thompson
Robbie Lawler vs Scott Smith (Championship fight)
    Gina Carano vs Katlin Young
    Brett Rogers vs Jon Murphy
    Phil Baroni vs Joey Villasenor

Jens Pulver vs Urijah Faber (Championship fight)
Miguel Torres vs Yoshiro Maeda (Championship fight)
    Rob McCullough vs Kenneth Alexander
    Jeff Curran vs Mike Brown

You have until Saturday before the EXC show to put in your pics. Next week ill been having UFC 85 and WVR 3 together.

    Whoa- your picking PULVER?!?!?!:yikes

I honestly don't think he stands much of a chance unless we lands early- and very early. I also think he needs to keep the fight on the feet where his boxing prowess will make a difference. Maybe.

Pulvers a tough cat man. If you watch the WEC preview show on Versus you will see his training is probablly better the Fabers hes really taking this fight seriously and doing some unique things to improve his game. Everyones acting like Fabers easily going to get him to the ground. I remember a time when Pulver made a career off of his sprawl and brawl skills. He himself is a accomplished wrestler and trains with some high level guys to prepare him for Faber. Faber seems to have great cardio so yeah id expect after a few rounds for Faber to get takedowns easier and maybe have a better shot at GNP or submissions but I cant imagine him doing it early. The majority of Pulvers losses where KOs but usually to execellent strikers I cant remember anyone outside of BJ owing him of the ground and ive seen Penn own Faber on the ground in videos. Jens is at his natural weight I expect him to keep it standing and knock Faber the **** out and brutally. Dont ever underestimate a puncher like Jens Pulver his lefthand is one of MMAs most devestating weapons.

I would actually prefer seeing a pioneer like Jens Pulver come back and win; it's very possible, considering he trains with Pat Miletich and company, one of the better teams in MMA today.

I think Faber is being a TINY bit overated by some people; yes, he was fantastic against Jeff Curran, but I don't think he's really had the oppurtunity to show how he handles adversity. And Jens Pulver, win or lose, is going to be a good test. Alot of questions will be answered in this fight.

I wanna change some picks and the edit option isn't there.... I'm changing Lawler to Smith by Sub 2... and Carano to Young by UD. I think this thread needs to be stickied, also.
