They have no technique. They're on the level of club fighters. MMA isn't a sport that would show great, great talent like Bob Arum said. It's not a technical sport.

MMA is an American niche sport, it has no global relevance. In fact even in America it's a sport followed by mostly white people younger than 25.

Also, no self-respecting human being would ever willingly step in a cage, it's for animals.

Is that why Dave and Busters was absolutely packed? I bet this fight broke 1 million PPVs. Too bad Ward Kov can't even do 200k. Boxing has much to learn from UFC

lmao, sounds like you have no clue as to what you are watching. obviously, an mma fighters boxing technique will appear primitive when compared to a pro boxer, they dont have the years of repetitive training required to achieve good technique, but he can kick the teeth out yo mouth, or tear the ligaments on your knee, or choke your ass to sleep... and thats why pavlik aint over there geting his money.

Again, Kelly Pavlik is a marquee athlete compared to those bums because unlike them he is the one white American who made it in boxing recently. It doesn't matter how well he would do in MMA, what matters is that he is a higher level athlete and a fighter than them. All those bums would be in boxing if they could, MMA is a bunch of club fighters, high school wrestlers and jiu jitsu hobbyists.

MMA is just another American bull**** "sport".

Not really. Boxing only has to remember what it used to do. I quite like the UFC but it will just never have the gravitas of boxing for me. I just find I don't care about the fighters at all. I'm not sure what it is, but I think a lot of people feel the same way.

Lot's of those "white guys" are wrestlers... Before MMA they had nowhere to go but Pro Wrestling. MMA is a young sport. It's evolved very rapidly and with each year it's become more and more legitimate. There are great athletes in MMA, to say otherwise is pure ignorance.

They had nowhere to go because they would be nothing more than club fighters in boxing. White Americans can't fight, they had to invent an entirely new sport because they could never break into elite level boxing.

MMA is not a proper sport, it doesn't have any legitimate competitive structure. The guys competing in MMA are low level athletes, they aren't marquee athletes like you see in global sports with huge talent pool like boxing.

MMA is not evolving but on the contrary there is less and less talent. The peak of MMA was Pride and Japanese MMA in the early 00s, they actually attracted decent athletes from wrestling (Olympic level, not some American high school wrestlers), judo, BJJ and kickboxing back then, the UFC can't do the same. The average age of UFC top guys is like 35 now. There are no prospects.

Had to stop reading after your first three lines. Too much stupidity to continue. No offense.

Maybe they'll learn to stop rolling around on the ground all the time and get up and have a real fight!
