they do and they get ppv revenue John jones and rashad make good money more than say Andre Ward probably Dana just wont tell people for some reason. Jones bought a damn bently after his last fight
:think Fight of the night bonus, KO of the night bonus, Submission of the night bonus. That's it. You don't get a bonus, just because you're the main event in UFC.
they get ppv revenue cut if you are a main event big name like jones and rashad. They also get these extra checks from Dana and the fretitas behind the scenes plus sponsorship money. GSP make like 5 mil everytime he fights.
Yea, I know GSP and Silva make bank. But that's two out of how many?? Bet you Evans and Jones barely made over 500k for there fight when all was said and done. They still gotta pay their team and for training. Then you got guys like Vanderlay Silva who's given his life to MMA making 200k in his last couple fights? **** ain't right.
All that's to say, Dana white driving Ferrari 458's. And most UFC fighters driving F-150's. This content is protected
Jones just got a new deal because his base pay went way up. Rashad only lost twice so they are gettin some serious ppv rev I bet. Yeah they have to pay there team prob lik,e 20 to 30 percent for everything just like a boxer would. But jones was also sponsored by UFC for this fight HE GOT PAID. Both made over 500K. The top guys get paid really well in UFC. Josh koscheck has two ferraris
I hear the repo man comin'! :yep On a serious note, he barely fights. He don't get paper like that. IMO, that was a dumb move. Spending up all that "Ultimate Fighter" money. No good.
I hope not point is DANA is making a ton of money but the top fighters are making good money too. The top guys are making Mils they just are not making Manny and FLoyd money but who is in boxing?
I understand what you're saying. I'm trying to find an interview where Tito Ortiz basically exposes the UFC pay structure to be the mess that it is. You can literally count on one hand fighters making 7 digits, that's simply not the case in boxing. Let's take your lower level fighters. Edgar Santana (boxer) had a fight a couple months ago (which he lost). He's a part time fighter like most of the guys in UFC. But he makes 50k a fight, meanwhile, your average mid level UFC fighter is bringing in 15-20, probably less. The point is, these guys that make the big money deserve more cause they are the face of the UFC. Brock came into the UFC making millions cause he wasn't gonna get pimped by Zuffa. These kats need to get on their **** and stop being greatful for handouts. :deal
