Nah, O´Malley got dominated, arguably lost every round. He did hurt Merab late, but it was not enough. O´Malley win would be a massive robbery.

Wish I would have had the guts to bet big on Merab. I had him in a couple tiny parlays, but didnt have the confidence to bet even a medium bag on him as I lost big betting against Omalley in the Yan and sterling fights, and was starting to get paranoid he was going to land that laser cross. But ultimately fight went as expected.
Merab just spams takedowns and lands a million gay little strikes that don't accumulate to being anywhere near fight ending damage. It's pathetic. He and his boyfriend Sterling are both total jokes.
I mean, hes a ground and pound fighter that just mauled the champion, and if they fought for 10 rounds instead of 5, Sean wouldnt get to the final bell. Idk, this disdain so many mma fans have with ground and pounders just seems odd to me. Its not like Merab was just laying on Sean and stalling in top position. He was landing plenty of strikes and applying plenty of cranks and body folding. What more was he supposed to be doing? It was a complete mma mauling.
I kinda agree, but he doesn´t just sit on top of his opponents to run out the clock. He is actively threatening chokes and throwing punches. It´s not a great style, but it´s effective and requires a lot of stamina.
