Jack Hermansson is done for, I dont see how he can turn his career around at this point. Oezdemir, SMASH! Welterweight is a crazy division. Lets look at some of the recent champions, and how their careers went after loosing the title: Robbie Lawler - Lost the belt to Woodley, beat Cerrone, lost his next 4 fights before getting a win over retired Nick Diaz. Woodley - Lost the belt to Usman and then lost 3 more fights in a row before he retired. Usman - Lost the belt to Edwards, lost a rematch to Edwards, lost against Chimaev and then finally got a win against Buckley. Edwards - Lost the belt to Muhammad via decision, lost to Brady via submissions, lost to Prates via KO. I think he might finish his career the same was as Woodley. Muhammad - Lost the belt to Maddalena, and tonight lost to Machado via decision. Will Maddalena be the one to end this ridiculous loss streak for former Welterweight champions? It would be pretty crazy if Maddalena lost his next fight too.
I just realized that I am tired of UFC announcers yelling their lungs out during every fighter introduction. Am I getting old?
not that I’m anywhere near fighting for top spot in the predictions for the league, but I’m pissed I forgot to put my picks in because I’m 6-0 on the main card… assuming Arman wins
Pimblett vs Gaethje is happening for the interim title, for some ****ing reason. This content is protected
Lol, Cejudo lost again. One of the dumbest retirements in MMA, and an equally ill advised comeback. Baffling career choices.
Yeah dumb dumb Cejudo decided to leave the sport for 3 yrs when he was the champion receiving champion pay to earn nothing for 3 yrs. Well done idiot. He really showed Dana. The ufc knew the overall mma fanbase doesn't overly care about the midgets fighting and Cejudo should have stayed in his lane and continued to fight as champion and earn solid pay but he thought he was Muhammad Ali and was a superpower who should command massive paydays. Severe low IQ.
Don't really like how Van is celebrating when it was a fluke accident injury. I don't consider him a champion at all. Don't celebrate your not the champion until you beat him in a rematch down the road.
I think Merab was trying to prove a point by keeping it striking only. Once he got cracked he went all out on his usual style. What a dude.
Yan is beating the crap out of Merab here. What a turnaround for Yan after that 3 fight L streak, truly impressive stuff.
