1. Anderson Silva 2. Fedor 3. Georges St. Pierre 4. BJ Penn 5. Lyoto Machida 6. Dan Henderson 7. Mike Brown 8. Faber 9. Rampage 10. Fitch
In a pound for pound sense a win over Griffin is big for Silva, even if most people expected it. Forrest was the champ just 5 minutes ago, and Silva had to move up a division to fight him.
He had a strong case for #1 before that fight, but yeah a performance like that against a former LHW Champ is enough for me to solidify his spot at #1.
Top Tier, too close to decide; done alphabetically. 1. Anderson Silva 1. Fedor 1. GSP 1. BJ Penn (rejoins top tier after destruction of #1 conteder; nobody touches him at 155) Second Tier 5. Lyoto Machida 5. Mike Brown Third Tier 7. Shinya Aoki 8. Dan Henderson (can do it at 185 or 205) 9. Fitch 10 Urijah Faber (Him and Fitch are the same situation, stuck behind a dominant #1, otherwise they would be fairly dominant champions imo)
