Mma vs boxing (nick diaz sparring omar henry)

He is not a boxer, so why is everyone so shocked and making a big fuss over the fact that he got worked over?

Yes both sports use punching, but you cant compare MMA to boxing because they are so different. Yes they are combat sports, and yes they involve punching, but thats about it.

I really get fed up with these Boxing vs MMA posts because i respect and love both sports.

 

I hate mma, bores the **** out of me.

No. He's not even primarily a striker, he's a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu guy who happens to have half decent stand up in MMA. Of course if you put him up against a full time boxer who has only ever trained in boxing, will punch the **** out of him. It's a totally pointless argument.

 

Based off of this video, he needs to stop calling out boxers like Vargas, Lacey, etc...He will get his **** rocked if he ever steps in the ring with a professional boxer, not to mention world class boxers (even the past prime ones). This is not a knock on him or on MMA, but he needs to stick to MMA and leave boxing alone.

 

He knocked out some of the best strikers in MMA ¿Who in welterweight is better striker than him?...

tho it is easy to forget from how awful he was nick diaz was also there
