So you're tryin to tell me that they don't stand completely squared up? Aren't you one of those idiots that always says, "boxing stance doesn't work." Well what the **** kinda stance are they in? Cuz it's obviously not a boxing stance, right?
You are wrong about Muay Thai not being effective at long range. Teep kicks, whip kicks and inside outside leg kicks not too mention the leaping chambered short weapons. The front leg turned in boxing style is perfectly exposed to one of Muay Thai's most basic kicks - the stap or stomp kick to the outside or inside knee. Great shot to land first up especially in the street wearing hard shoes. Boxing boots still work well. Try and step into your punches after your skinny, unconditioned legs have taken one or two of those. That's why Muay Thai fighters stand more square on - plus other factors that are off the subject. Far too much heavy artillery and ability too fight in the inside that boxers do not train for. The boxer is truly dangerous at medium range - any mistake at long or short the difference becomes obvious. Benny Urquidez a stand up legend was shown how in Thailand. Please don't get me wrong - I love boxing and a good, old school boxer brings great tools and some bad mistakes too MMA. If I had too select a fighter's background then boxing would be one of the three types I would like to see.
I'm surprised. I was a doorman for years and saw guys rolling around on the ground countless times. They were pissed mind you.
Haters all across the board.. Boxing, MMA fans, etc. It's all nonsense. Some ESB members prove to be no different.
