I know that's not fair either. Boxers and MMA guys should both get paid more, granted its not economically feasible for them all to get paid as much as they deserve, especially the fighters working for smaller promotions.

Like mayweather says, skills pay the bills. The talent pool in MMA is about as deep as a puddle. I watched some of that last UFC, they had a guy that was a former NFL player and decided at the early age of like 35 to become a "fighter" and he's knocking people out in the biggest organization in MMA. Boxing is a sport where lacing gloves up for the first time at 15 years old is considered a late starter.

The talent pool for boxing is very deep. You have high level amatuers from the US, Europe, eastern Europe, south America fighting each other as kids then turning pro.

I can't speak for all mma firms, but ufc fighters get phucked. Dana White is jude, jury, and executioner. Those fighters are stuck in his contract and he pays them the lousy pay without no one disputing it

Jones & DC should have got like 5 million each or more for a 700k PPV. Their biggest stars are the ones getting ripped off. GSP should have tens of millions more from his fights.

Because it's a second rate sport and is paid accordingly......... These guys wouldn't even get a pay check in real boxing so they should thank their lucky stars

They are getting sued but so far none of the big names support it. I don't understand how a guy like Anderson doesn't hold out for some real guaranteed money, the UFC are desperate for any PPV stars, but then the guy signs like a 15 fight contract at 40 years old...that's a new thing they're doing now, 10 fight deals and they can cut you at any time..da f1ck.
