MMA Vs Boxing "Striking and footwork"

    Yes to a degree it is the same, but with anything experience is important. I just don't believe learning how to sprawl or protect against an armbar is the same as learning how to weave, parry, use head movement, footwork, or anything else a boxer uses for defense. It's just way more complicated.

    No, its not.

    Learning how to do something is not the same as good as the best people doing that thing.

    That is precisely what Chuck Liddell does most fo the time and he isn't even good at it.
