    They're making more in affliction, as far as I know. Fedor is at least.

    Though the best way to make loads of money in MMA is to be an average Japanese heavyweight who used to be great at something else. Yoshida and Ogawa made more than Anderson Silva has probably made in his career per fight back in PRIDE.

    People like to talk about sponsorships and other deals, but usually those are reserved for very popular fighters. Moreover, one loss could mean an end of sponsorships if the figher falls out of the spotlight. Also ,remember that UFC is making huge profits on their PPVs probably as much as boxing. They are just not sharing that with the people who are making the fights possible. Any fight could be the last one due to injuries or even death, so i think fighters should be given more financial security.

    Well you gotta add in the possible bonuses,PPV bonus,sponsors as everyone for the most part has sponsors. MMA fighters get paid more then you think although with the UFCs sick revenue for DVDs and PPV it should be MUCH higher.
