I'm not a MMA fan but want to give the sport a chance so are there any fights you'd recommend I watch that will get me interested in MMA/UFC? Sort of like the MMA equivalents of Corrales-Castillo and MAB-Morales I. Also, there's UFC on tonight. Are there any fighters or fights to watch out for? Thanks :good
Tonight I would watch Dan Hardy cos he's British, the main event should be good, Cro Cop if he is back to his normal self. Fights to watch hmm :- Kazushi Sakuraba vs Carlos Newton (most exciting display of grappling I've ever seen) although maybe not a war. Wanderlei Silva vs Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson I,II and III Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua vs Antonio Rogerio Nogueira Fedor vs Cro Cop Just to name a few well known fights. How the **** are you going to compare Corrales Castillo with a barnyard brawl with 2 TUF gimps who are nothing more than UFC poster boys because of TUF? Honestly its farcical. There is NO COMPARISON whatsoever. Iv seen WBU santioned bouts that were better than that uneducated crap from Bonnar and Griffin. They looked like 2 pub drunks having a brawl.
And for the record if you want to see an MMA fight that was sheer carnage as was Castillo Corrales watch Don Frye vs Takayama. I gurantee you you WILL NOT be dissapointed.
