Ever had this feeling of disgust or have you ever been kinda sad for a fighter or almost in pain , just watching a fight?...

    It happened to me once....

The first one that comes to mind is Arona vs Sakuraba.
    That **** was horrible.

Semmy schilt vs Kharitonov was a sad scene to watch too...
even though I'm no huge fan of Schilt...but what a ****ed up situation that was...and the ref took too much time to stop the fight...

Yoshida vs Crocop was embarrassing...The guy couldn't even walk , and even crocop wanted to stop...

Igor Vovchanchyn vs Enson Inoue takes the cake. Enson came closer to dying in the Pride ring than anyone else. He had so much brain swelling that his balance and coordination didn't return to normal for over a month.

I loved every second of CroCop vs Yoshida, all those breaks Yoshida has been given by the Pride refs coming back to haunt him, he had something like 15 seconds to recover after the last leg kick before the ref finally called it; its like watching Musashi get KO'd in K1.

I remember seeing one with Sakuraba, I think he ended up winning the fight but he took way too many shots.

tank abbot's ko of matua comes to my mind. i was young then and never saw muscles stiffen up like that after a punch.

This was the fight, Sakuraba vs Smirnovas.. Just a taste of what went on, Sakuraba took many shots to the head, he did come back and win but it seemed like the refs would have let him die in there before they would let him lose.

    1# Arona vs Sakuraba
    2# Vovchanchyn vs Inoue
    3# Yoshida vs Thompson

Main reason why these fights are hard to watch was poor referee

semmy vs. sergi khotonov........he isolated his arms then singled out an eye and hammer fisted it until his orbital bone was damn near showin. and i cant remember seeing semmy back in the white pride ring after that. tha tank abbot k.o was a brutal k.o but it wasnt a brutal beating. kinda like mirko getting kicked out by gabreil gonzaga and sitting on his own feet.
