The thread on Gypsy Joe Harris got me thinking about fighters that were ranked/well known/drawn up in the boxing magazines of whom no film/tape exists on. First fighter that comes to mind for me is Edgar "Mad Dog" Ross. Main event fighter in Orlando in the mid and late 70's, lots of magazine publicity, consistant world ranking, and not one shred of tape on him. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to find even a single photo of him. Who comes to mind for you that you'd like to see?
