The problem isn't that Kessler didn't want to fulfill the contract, he wanted that damn 3 fights to be made so he can go for the big purses. He didn't want Palle to ***** and moan out of every fight offered to him so he can stretch that 3 fights until Kessler is 50 years old. Whatever fight was offered to Palle, it wasn't "big" enough, so no show, and Kessler got another 3 months older. Repeat. Mogens Palle wants Floyd Mayweather to move up to 168 and come to Denmark fighting on Danish TV for $50,000, with 3 options on him if he wins. PPV and US earnings to Mogens Palle.

Basically, Sauerland should offer Palle some split on the money earned with Kesslers first 3 fights, like 20% or something in that direction. If he does not take it, he should ask that russian co-promoter of Povetkin to do the negotiations for him, I bet the deal is signed by Palle the moment that one walks through the door with his 12 ex-KGB bodyguards.

Palle has ****ed up Kessler repeatedly. Remember the Miranda deal? Miranda was fairly hot at the time, and Showtime wanted Kessler/Miranda. Kessler was still hot from the Calzaghe fight, and he would have demolished Miranda on a major U.S network. Palle took the deal, and then backed out. Truly one of the dumber moves I've seen from a promoter.

Palle's obviously taking a page out of Don King's playbook here. King usually forces his fighters to be managed by Carl King.

btw..here's blue eyed Kess signing his life away to Palle :yep :

I for one think Palle has done a brilliant Job with Kessler.

If he was with an Arum hed be a sideshow on a US card.

Hes marketed him as a european Golden boy....matched him at a level where he could gain success (Shot fighters and punch bags) manouvered him to titles with little risk and got him 5Million in his riskiest fight)....

Palle has even got fans thinking Kessler is a beast with his promoting and matchmaking...ROFL

If u ask me that means hes done a great job!!!

Sauerland offered $750, 000 US. Palle asked for 4 million euro! This reminds me of when I was a car salesman. Sometimes there is just no god damn place to even start negotiating!!!!!!

Interesting, so if Kessler continues to fight these poor quality fights for Palle for the remainder of his 3 fight contract at about 20% promoter/manager cut than Palle is only expected to make about 300,000 Euros. Dumb of Palle to reject the 750,000 offer unless he has big fights planned for Mikkel.
