It wasn't the worst stoppage I've ever seen.

Gotta feel for Cusolito, but he ate three or four flush shots after getting rocked and didn't seem to look like he was reacting all that well defensively. Understandable stoppage, even if I might have let it go on a couple more seconds given how well Luis had fought prior that point.

Same thing happened more than once mutually throughout the fight. Cusolito wasn't caught on the ropes defenseless. He was backing away. Flores could have dropped him if he could. It was a premature stoppage for sure.

Fun fight, horrible stoppage. That was really, really bad. Not even close to being in danger. He was buzzed, but that's about it. Horrible.

In regards to the stoppage, Cusolito was visibly hurt and he was just moving away. That's a pretty normal reaction to getting rocked. It's not like he did a funky dance, was getting punched repeatedly without answering, his head was snapping back or anything dramatic of that sort. It just looked like he got hurt and it was stopped. Good fight anyways, and I don't think I saw Cusolito complaining so, I'm not going to complain either, just an observation that it looked a little early to me.

I do think Cuso was hurt and probably would of gone down, I doubt he would of got finished though probably clinch for his life and survive for a pts loss

Cusolito looked more hurt at that point than he'd been in other rounds, though. That said, I agree that he should have been given a chance to see if he was still capable of returning fire. He'd certainly done it before during the previous 11.

I mean ref could stop the fight if Cuso was knocked down before and was hopeless on the cards to save him from more punishment. Without a knockdown this fight would be pretty close on the cards. This is not the way to stop a close fight with no prior knockdowns in my opinion. At least give the guy a chance to try to survive.

    Round 1

Freeman starts oput keeping Plant at bay with his jab, but Plant did the better work walking him down and landing the harder cleaner shots and danced a little at the end.

    Plant 10-9

Freeman's pretty good on defence, but was too passive and gave that round away to Plant.
