No, selling bridges from brooklyin is for the people that still aren't convinced boxing isn't a sport, but a business, even after their very own idols says that.

Watched the post fight interview, didn't hear that statement. You got a source on that?

If I had to bet, I would guess Matthysse hits harder.

But how would you or I possibly know?

Molina has more right to say that and provide insight on the debate than probably anyone else on the planet. So, feel like a keyboard warrior if your initial reaction is "no way!"

It's like how everyone says Pac hits harder than Mayweather because Marquez, Mosley, and Cotto all say so. That's cool. But why do you believe them 100% but when Molina gives his opinion on two people he has fought before, you for some reason jump to claims of fight fixing and other extremes? Are your agendas and the bone structures of your head that thick?

The bias on this thread is outrageous. I get it, I do. I hate Broner. But he 119-109'd a guy that took Matthysse life-and-death tonight. It is what it is. Don't read into it and get all defensive over your preferred and disliked fighters.

Nah. Broner was is a lot quicker tho and that snap kept molina hesitant to attack. But punch for punch no way he hits harder than matthyse.

ok well lets take in to consideration the fact that molinas output was complete dog **** (3 punches in rd12 for example). if i was getting hit with HARD punches i would not want to be throwing back. your point is not valid mate

I would've thought it was fairly obvious, Matthysse knocked him down twice, then out. Pac knocked Marquez, Mosley and Cotto down.

People are just following what they see, and when they're told what they're seeing is wrong they call b/s.

I'm more inclined to believe Molina is saying anything he can think of to explain his poor performance. I'm sure Broner packs a solid, snappy punch, but there was no damage to molina and he was never hurt.

Matthysse gave him the Mack truck treatment.

Right. But how could you possibly take a guy on his couch's opinion more serious than someone who has slugged out 10+ rounds with each of the guys in question?

"Styles make fights," I thought we were all supposed to know this by now.

What we see is what happened, but just because someone got knocked down once more or down and out a year later or before doesn't mean they actually hit harder (and you should know there are all sort of aspects to defining punching power and "hitting harder").

Why are people getting their panties in a wad over this? I don't get it. There are people who have sparred him who say Calzaghe hits very hard. There are people who have sparred him who say that Wladimir doesn't have bone crushing power... Who are we to question what one person's experiences against one other person on one particular day were???

There is a reason why Molina didn't go ***** out against Broner. The thread topic!
