This is one of those instances in which a Molina win over an exciting fighter like Kirkland would have actually been bad for the sport.

Referee Schorle's decsion to award Kirkland the DQ win may have been a blessing in disguise. Think about it for a moment. . .

I'm sure Kirkland will provide us with many exciting battles, win or lose.

His DQ "win" tonight ensures that we will indeed see those battles.

What exciting fights would Molina have provided us in the future?

Dominating till he got put on his ass and had blood pouring from his mouth.

But yeah jus like Hopkins and Ward! Hopkins fought Pascal, Pavlik, Tito, Oscar, and Tarver jus like that. Muh huh

No doubt. Even when he had Kirkland trapped in the corner while teeing off on him, Molina stops and starts dry humping him into the turn buckle. You do know if you kept punching the ref would stop it, be ruled a tko, and get fans?

Ive been thinking about this and about what the other poster said regarding that he should have been dqed for the excessive holding (or at least been deducted a point or two)

Schorle may have actually used the cornerman entering the ring as a technicality in the rules in order to dq a guy who was winning but stinking out the joint and damaging the sport in the process.

Or one could say if you added a willing heart to Hopkins, then we'd have a black Molina :think

Bradley definitely fights ugly but I personally find it more entertaining then stalling Molina. I don't know if it's just me but I see a difference and I like Bradley's rough and ugly style.

John Chavez at BoxingTruth performed a compuclinch and had Molina initiating 78 clinches through round 10...unheard off.

That not fighting when you negate the other fighters offense by holding instead of using proper defensive manuevers

And people were here cheering for Molina when he was squidding onto and spoiling anything coming from Kirkland in bunches.

When Hopkins applies perhaps 10% of the clinching he does, Hopkins is a dirty nagger no good clinching spoiler.

When Wladimir holds on for dear life against a blown up LHW, he gets praised.

Bunch of hypocritical rats on here, **** all of you. And if Molina is who you want to see headline cards, then you aint no boxing fan you poofters.

Funny how some of you werent saying **** when Alexander was holding Maidana constantly in their fight...Fatc is, Molina was SCHOOLING the hell out of Kirkland, and despite being knocked down, he would most likely have survived the next 2 rounds and won that fight if it wasn't for that stupid ass ref.

Molina excessive clinching was frustrating to watch, whats funny is that when he did stop clinching after the ref told him something about it, is when Kirkland started to put it on dude. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who didn't feel bad for Molina getting DQ'd also.
